Farming Project

Initiative for Organic Farming

Project Summary

Initiative for organic farming will support to widow women. Organization will take 12 acres rental land to cultivate vegetables, wheat crops, rice crops, sugarcane, watermelon and melon. Organization will develop a cattle farm. 50% of crops, vegetables, fruits and milk of cows will distribute with 65 families to support their lives and 50% will sale to continues this project. This project will be very essential to secure food availability for widow women and destitute families.

Project Area

This project will run in chak no. 215 GB, Samundri, Faisalabad, Punjab Pakistan.

Existing Problem

Food is basic unit for all living things, all human and animals fight for food in this universe. up to 50% of population of Christian community in Pakistan doing dirty jobs like sewerage man, sweepers, garbage van drivers on very low wages to support their families. after death of family’s head females take step to support their families. they also do such dirty jobs like maids, dish washers, sweeper etc. these females face criticism, sexual abuse and different hurdle to support their families.

What Shall We Do?

Log Ministries Pakistan is working on different social issues, specially working on education of orphans, and destitute families and  providing chances to widow women and destitute women to improve their living style. It is retrieving the women from sexual abuse, exploitation and isolation with economical self reliance. It is supporting for children education, and free from child labour creation.

 

Project Objectives

  1. Increasing growth of food through Organic Farming
  2. Providing food to Widow women and destitute Families
  3. Promoting of Organic farming and teaching the skills of farming to farmers

 

Problem Solve

This project will support 65 widow women and 2 destitute workers to run their families. Females will feel secure at their home. This little support can change their lives and they will do better work. They will not face dirty things; they will live their lives without any tension about food. They will invest proper time with their children and children will do better for their future.
